UTI ? leukocytes 15/ul

Hey

Done an at home test and it says leukocytes 15/ul no blood present. Pharmacist said nothing to worry about even though I have frequent urination and lower back pains. Done a pregnancy test too just to be sure. Says online anything above 5 indicates infection? Anyone know anything about this?

Leukocytes can also be due to contamination of the sample if not a totally clean capture.

Nitrates is a common sign of infection, however if you feel you may have a uti (& a pharmacist that isn’t listening) could you speak to another pharmacist?
I think boots & Superdrug also do an online service for uti’s.

@Appiandterri yeah I am going to call the doctors tomorrow morning. Been up all night with the urge to wee nothing coming out and back lower back cramps.

Thanks I will also have a look at Superdrug! I have started taking sachets for the time being.
