Ultrasound on one breast only?

I went to see my GP with my left breast as it was very sore near my nipple for about 2 months.
I was referred to Breast Clinic.
At the breast clinic I was examined by female Dr who said she can’t feel anything abnormal in my left boob.
She mentioned that my boobs are lumpy.
I had Mammogram in March 2021 reported as normal for another non connected issue.
She said that she will order ultrasound.
I left feeling re assured and I’m waiting for the ultrasound appointment however yesterday I received a clinic letter from the Breast clinic saying that in my right breast is increased nodularity, but not well defined lump.
Also the letter says that the Dr ordered ultrasound only for the left breast.
They won’t check the right one with the ,,increased nodularity,,
I just rang and checked with the nurse- - she said only the left side will be scanned.
This gave me a huge anxiety.
I had not issues with the right side at all, but I am worried now very much about it that they will not check it and will miss something.
I am not sure what to do…

The Dr never mentioned anything about my right breast or any findings while I was in her room.
She only said : your breast feel lumpy.
It’s in the letter only that mentions the right breast findings.

Hi, hope appointment goes well.

I have been to the Breast Clinic twice and both times they have only done an ultrasound on one breast. Once was a mammogram and then ultrasound on one breast. Diagnosis - lumpy breast! Despite the pain.
Hope yours is a reassuring result.

@Beekindbeehumble thank you.
I would be pleased with one boob only as that was the reason I went in for but I’m a bit anxious about what the letter says…
If she would not mention in the letter then I would never knew if any concerns there..now I imagine the worst really.

When you can go you Adam ask what they meant in the letter… I am not medical at all, but hopefully they can reassure.
