Does anyone suffer from this?
I had a dry patch around 3/4 months ago and suddenly this week it's spread all over the eyelid - hard to see it but it's sore and itchy

On the other side some red patches have appeared- really strange as they are also sore and itchy but look completely different

Over the past few weeks I've had some flare up on elbows and hands which is more usual for me, but never on my eyes.

I am definitely feeling quite stressed and wonder if that's the cause

How does it go away? Has anyone ever had this before?

Thank you

Hey are you pregnant? I got this in my pregnancy, first trimester. It was weird and flakey. Kind of sore if I peeled the skin. Dr said it was some form of dermatitis. A cream he prescribed got rid of it. Mine was above my eyelid kind of under where my brow starts, it started on one side and somehow spread in the same place on the other side too.

My daughter gets a type of dermatitis round her eyes , when she first got it it became really quite severe and she was on prednisone tablets but it flared if she dropped below 15 mg a day . She ended up getting Protopic cream from a dermatologist and that clears it straight away .

My DP gets this - localised only to his eyelids and occasionally one elbow! It has historically been when he’s quite stressed.

DS also had it where his whole eyelids were ‘crazed’ and red. Was suggested to use Aveeno which is made with oats. Maybe try making some little eye bags up with soaked oats as a natural alternative?

Me! I became allergic to my make up but took ages to get diagnosed.

Yes. Since I was a kid on and off. Triggered by make up allergy usually. You can get over the counter hydrocortisone or your GP can prescribe if (you should really see a. Doc before using steroid on face). Keep it moisturisers. Bobbi brown extra eye cream is horrendously expensive but very moisturising and keeps it at bay.
