Has anyone had a loop excision for this. And if so are you clear now?

Yes about 20 years ago. Absolutely fine ever since.

About 15 years ago had the loop done twice over a year with smear test and biopsys ever 6 months for 2 years. Then went to yearly smears for 9 years now back to 3 years. Not come back yet

Yes. 10 years of smears fluctuating from normal to cin1 every six months to a year, then went from normal to cin3 in the space of a year. Treated, then clear smears for 10 years (six monthly to annual smears for all but the last 3 years of that time) and hpv negative afterwards, then hpv positive but clear smear, then hpv negative again a year after that. So, the treatment probably doesn’t enable the body to clear itself of the infection if you’ve not cleared it naturally within 2-3 years, just enables the body to suppress it to the point of dormancy, but that doesn’t mean your immune system will be unable to control the virus again if it reactivates for any reason best known to its aggravating virusy self. And they test you more regularly after treatment/after any kind of abnormal result until you’ve been having clear results on a consistent basis.

I had this after my very first smear test aged 24! It was removed via LLETZ and all clear. I'm 30 now and other smears have been clear. I also had a transvaginal ultrasound to explore random bleeding last year and they said they couldn't even tell where the LLETZ had been done so it healed well. I hadn't had the HPV vaccine but I paid to have it done at Boots last year, just as an additional precaution. HPV and CIN seem to be a lot more common than we think!
