Hello !
Please could someone give me some advice please 🙂
I suffer now and again from quite bad anxiety… I control it better now, but now and again I have a blip.
This morning I nipped to Tesco. As soon as I started walking around I could feel my eyes not being able to keep up with the amount of items on the shelf…. Almost like I was spinning. Was horrid ! I went to sit down and felt better… I wondered if anyone else found this happens to them ? I know it’s not my eyes , as I had them checked last month and all was okay ? Any onesies had this ?

Have you had your blood pressure checked?

Lifesforloving1 · 25/11/2021 12:23

@emmathedilemma

I get this sometimes
Quite often in supermarkets
I think it is a case of being a bit overwhelmed
The lights are so harsh too
And masks really don't help with it

I get this in supermarkets too when I am anxious. It happens when I walk along the road and the cars driving past do this to my eyes.

vivainsomnia · 25/11/2021 13:43

Yes,this happens to me when I get an anxiety attack. It's often just one eye for me which makes it worse. It once lasted 4 days although it's usually only hours or minutes.

Definitely anxiety related in my case.

I have defiantely had this once in a supermarket , I felt like it was caused by the harsh lights. I think there is a term for anxiety caused by bright lighting .

Fl0w3ry · 25/11/2021 18:31

Yes, this is how I feel in supermarkets with my anxiety. I also feel dizzy and hot and like my legs are going to give way.
