Should I Get this Checked Out?

Sorry for the gory details.

For a while now there has been spots of blood on the toilet roll when I've wiped myself after a bowel movement.

There's been no blood in the stools as far as I can make out.

I'm not sure if the bleeding is because of the way I wipe.

I've had very bad IBS in the recent past but this was due to taking medication which was making me constipated.

Yes you should. It will likely be nothing but you won't know if you don't ask.

Yes the chances are you have piles and need cream etc but always get it checked out

Yes you should always get checked if you concerned about something, could be as simple as haemorrhoids

Yes, of course get it checked out with your dr. No point sitting at home worrying about something like this.
