Chemo - painful joints

Hi, I'm posting this on behalf of my mum. She's just had her 4th round of 3 weekly chemo for breast cancer. This treatment they changed her chemo, which is fine, but it's caused her to have extremely bad joint pain.

She was warned this would happen, but we are wondering if anyone could let us know how long this pain lasted for you?

She had chemo on Wednesday, and the pain started on Saturday and she's now really struggling to cope with the pain from her joints.

We have googled it, but we wanted to know genuine experiences, even if it's not the answer she's looking for, as she wants to prepare herself if it's going to stay around until the end of her treatment in January...

If you had this pain, did you find anything that helped ease the pain?
