I have a toddler and an 8 week old. I caught everything going in the pregnancy and since giving birth I've caught everything going. I've had back to back colds, I've had a cough for 8 weeks, I've had norovirus and now I've got tonsillitis. I'm waiting for blood results. Feeling so low with it. I'm trying to enjoy my newborn but I'm so poorly all the damn time.

Being pregnant really takes a toll on the body. Some people are more prone to catching bugs and also with a toddler most adults get sick. Make sure to take vitamins and rest when you can (I know easier said then done with two young ones!). I have 3 kids and the youngest is almost 2....so I have gone through the phase many times of toddlers having colds etc. But we pretty much manage to not catch anything (knock wood!). However, the one time I caught something, I was then hit with EVERYTHING all in one week. I never had flu in my life. But I caught the flu, a tummy bug, pink eye all in the same week. This was 9 years ago and I think once your immunse system is down with one bug, it opens you up to catching everything else much easier. You need to try to get out of the cycle (again I know not easy with a toddler and newborn). But see if your partner can help or you can get some help so you can rest, take vitamins, avoid crowds if you can until you get your health back up. I litterally had to lie in bed for the week (I was lucky it was during xmas, so the in laws helped and my husbdand as well....but we only had one child at that point). I took vitamins etc and managed to recover and get out of the cycle of getting sick. Good luck to you!
