Sorry, I'm really tired of this now so hoping someone can help!

Since the start of August I've had a really sore bottom when I go for a no2. Sometimes it hurts/itches during the day or night as well and occasionally there is a little bright red blood. I did everything you should- drank loads of water, ate wholemeal bread/pasta, ate loads of fruit, went for a brisk daily walk and it would be ok for a few days then hurt again.

When it got to October I started to worry so went to the GP. She did a physical exam and said I had a small internal pile. She recommended I carry on doing what I'm doing and also suggested I use anusol. It's still coming and going over a month later!!!! Why won't it just go away??? I've run out of things to try, how long do they normally last? Is there anything I can try??

Please send help!

Have you tried Anusol HC suppositories? They have a mild steroid in and they're the only thing that clear mine up. You can always request a referral to a Colorectal surgeon if you think you need surgical treatment

Sheriproct is excellent. You either need a prescription or you can buy it online.

I second sheriproct suppository, I suffered for months and this stopped it within a week
