I have a verruca on the ball of my foot. It’s really painful to walk on and tender to the touch. I’ve tried Bazucca that verruca but it isn’t making any difference. I’m going away this weekend and will be doing lots of walking. Any ideas on how to get rid of it please or at least ease the pain.

Try vicks. I had a pupil in class get them constantly and the swimming instructor recommended it.

Salactol. I had a very persistent one, tried everything over the course of a couple of years and nothing would shift it. Salactol did.

Just re-read the original post. Well, yeah, Salactol will shift it, but not that fast....I'd try corn plasters to take the pressure off that spot in your foot for the pain.

Duct tape.

glutarol wart remover & cover with a small bit of zink oxide tape (sticks better than duct tape, but be careful when removing as the skin begins to flake it can pull at the health skin... ouch)

*Zinc

Probably not recommended but I used scholls freezing spray then cut it out using nail clippers. It bled a fair bit but healed quickly and never came back.
