anyones child had veruccas frozen?

My 6 year old has got to go and have it done

I had it done when I was about 20, it really hurt

How on earth will they be able to do my daughters!? She wont let me near them cause they hurt her

she will kick her legs as soon as the treatmetn starts

It's pretty quick and the pain only lasts for a second as most of the skin on top is dead.

My DS2 had them done by the dr. It didn't really hurt him. Was just very cold!
Took 2 treatments though before the verucca went.
He basically used the same stuff that you can buy, wartner verruca stuff.

did ds1 with the home freezing kit. he was 4 at the time. he kicked and screamed - more fear than pain imo- but we (dp) held him down and (i) zapped him.

took a couple of weeks, and we were tryign to summon up courage to do it again, and it dropped off without needing to. hurrah.

I had a wart done on the inside of my arm this year. Sensitive area that... it stung and was cold. Don't know what it would be like on foot...didn't have to grit my teeth tho... You could try distraction technique...the body can only process so much information at once so if something else is more distracting she won't feel it (or that's the theory... ) alternatively sit on her legs. (joking!)
