Cystic spots - HELP!

Help! Hoping someone has some recommendations or advice.

I came off the pill nearly a year ago (we have been trying to conceive for 7 months now). About 2 months ago, I started to get some really bad cystic spots on my chin and jawline which is unlike me. I usually have very clear skin. I have been off the pill before this stint off the pill with no such hormonal side effects. These spots do coincide with a new oil to milk cleanser that I was trying which in hindsight was way too thick and heavy.

Whether this is hormonal or linked to the product I don’t know but I need to solve it. It is really taking a toll on my mental health. I dread waking up to another critter. They take so long to get under control. When I get a new one, I can feel it coming - like the area is prickly and irritated.

I’m now using La Roche-Posay Effaclar Cleansing Gel, the Clinique smart serum I’ve used forever and a LRP light moisturiser.

A dermatologist appointment seems to be around £220-250 in London so I thought I would see if someone had gone through something similar and could direct me towards something that might work! Thank you xx

You need a drs appointment for antibiotics before you scar. Tell them your ttc.

All acne’s hormonal, it’s why kids don’t get it.
