I had a pretty grim anaphylactic attack on Sunday night - overnight stay in hospital hooked up to oxygen, steroids and further shots of adrenaline and antihistamine. I lost consciousness several times apparently. Feel ok ish - I know what caused it.

If you've ever had this, do any of you get that hard, jelly like plasma gathering in your ENT areas? I'm finding it sitting heavily on my chest and stuck in my ears.

I've also had a call from the Nurse at my doctors surgery who's asked whether I want to approach occupational health? I asked why - and she thinks because my experience was traumatic that I should have counselling?

Has anyone ever been offered this? I've had 4 big pulls in the last 6 years and this is the first time that counselling has been suggested.
