Abdominal Pains - Any advice?

Hello, just asking for advice, yesterday around 12:45 I'd just finished eating a bowl of stew, I stood up took the plates in, and went into the living room, was then struck by crippling abdominal pain, right under the belly button near the pelvis. Didn't seem to move anywhere else, was just there. I couldn't stand or sit, so laid down. Applied a hot towel to there and that seemed to ease the pain. I did call 999 and some might find that dramatic but I've not felt that pain for a very long time.

I had a termination in February, and have had bleeding all over the place, never got back to normal fully - the pain was on the same level as that.

The emergency services said ambulances were busy and was up to a five hour wait.

The pain went after around an hour, just felt tender. I had three wees in this time but no poops, I haven't had any pain since just the odd twinge- I cancelled the ambulance as pain had gone.

Has anybody any idea what this could be??? I'm just worried as my partner starts full time work tomorrow and have a toddler at home so very scared if it happens again.

Any idea on what it could be? If it was serious would I still have pain??

It could be gall bladder . But don’t ask for a diagnosis on here, get an appointment and see your GP

If it comes on after you’ve eaten food with any fat in it could be your gallbladder. I would ask your gp for an abdominal and pelvic scan to see if they can see anything obvious that’s causing the pain

Yes I will call the surgery tomorrow, I thought gallbladder pain was higher up?

My gallbladder pain was central between my belly button and bottom of rib cage and also under right rib and round in my back too. Hope you feel better soon 💐

Could be gynaecological? I had the same about a month ago (was around ovulation time) felt like I'd been kicked by a horse, then felt tender for another week and came on (period from hell) earlier than expected. Booked in for an ultrasound to check for cysts etc in a few weeks. Hope you get it sorted.

Hi, it's definitely in the pelvic region, I did think maybe ovulation, with the termination and then depo, I've not had a normal period in around 9 months. I will be calling GP and asking for a referral to be made for as quickly as they can, I have been googling and have seen maybe an cyst.

Please, please don't google it. Book an.appointment and see a GP. It could be a million things and the best way to find out is to seek medical help.
