ds (age 6) fell asleep at about 4.30pm and I've moved him to bed. Shall I just let him carry on sleeping?

Have visions of him waking up at 3am and thinking it's morning....

He's got a cold and has been pretty miserable.

I just get all edgy when they sleep like this (and it's quite unlike my children!).

yes let him sleep he obviously needs it - I always go through the same quandry, but it works out ok in the end

SquonkaClaus · 13/12/2007 20:07

let him sleep. He may wake up at 3am and if he does, you've got more chance of getting him back to sleep than if you wake him up now. Especially as he's under the weather - let him sleep it off.

Thanks. That's reassured me! I don't like them being ill.

Poor Foxy's ds. Hope he gets better soon. He's probably got a temperature do you think?

What's wrong with your eyes?

Let's make this a AVOID FOXY'S HOUSE lurgy thread.

I'd check he hasn't got a temperature and if not i'd let him sleep. If he has i'd be tempted to wake him up and get some medicine down him to be on the safe side like you I get edgy if they sleep for too long..
