Leaking breasts (age 48)

Just wondering if anyone else has had this. 3 years ago I had the same and was referred under the 2 week pathway. I had a mammogram, ultrasound and a chest MRI and they concluded it was duct ectasia. They pondered doing a biopsy of all the lumps but in the end, after the MRI, they were ok to leave as is.

It is happening again but just one side.

I am actually a bit terrified of being referred as I nearly passed out in the mammogram as I found it so painful.

If you've had it once - did it return?

Just to say I always take paracetamol and ibruprofen one hour before the mammogram.

thanks @sadie9 - it took my breath away and because my breasts are full of lumps, the pain when they squished them was quite unbelievable, like worse than childbirth pain :(

will call the GP today and see what they think - thanks

I’ve had a leaking nipple for over a year and they’ve not found the cause… had a biopsy, scan, another scan but still leaking
