Lump in neck

For the past 3 months I've had a painless lump in my neck that can't be seen but I can feel when I touch it. Some days I can feel it more than others, but it doesn't hurt or anything, I just find myself constantly touching it to see if its went down.

I went to the doctor about it and he said it was a swollen lymph node and that it's nothing to worry about, but surely it would have went by now? I've made another doctors appointment but it's 3 weeks away.

Has anyone had anything similar or know what it could be? I keep jumping to the worst case scenarios.

sounds like oneof the fat lumps the skin doctor removes.

I have a pea sized lump just above my collar bone, hurts sometimes which is how I noticed it and there is some swelling around it.
I think it is a lymph node but will be calling the doctor on monday, after looking on google I've scared myself silly that it could be cancer of some sort.
Hope you get an answer op did your doctor take bloods?

Always worrying but I think if it is less noticeable some days it’s unlikely to be cancerous as it would grow bigger, not go up and down. Good to have it checked though.

I've had a swollen lymph node in my neck since I had my first covid jab in April. Not sure if it needs checking or not. No go appts at my surgery. Have been told to call back in December. It's shit really.
