Antibiotic advice please

GP prescribed antibiotics for an infection in my neck, just under the jaw. He commented that it might need two courses.I finished the course he gave me yesterday. It is much improved, but not better, still redness and weeping. I’m thinking of ringing again tomorrow about a second course; is this too soon? I don’t want to wait until Monday in case it deteriorates over the weekend.

I would ring and ask GP for advice. Better too many antibiotics than too few.

You're better asking tomorrow than letting the infection build up again and then try and treat it because that can lead to resistance

Make sure you take good quality probiotics- antibiotics can be very hard on your gut health and cause body wide and mental health issues. Drinking kefir is another good option.
