Thinking of going private

Hi everyone, this has been going on since august now, I have symptoms of near fainting, head rush and palpitations.
The near fainting episodes are so intense and feels like I have a 'head rush' also every single day without fail.
I had a 24 hour holter monitor recently to check it's not to do with my heart and today I called them and they said they have sent the results to the doctor and told me that they couldn't tell me the results but she can say that if they were concerned they would have called me sooner (not sure if that was her hint that it's fine or not) anyway, I'm very very ready to pay privately now, doctor said if ecg comes normal I will be referred to cardio which could take a year as I am very aware there is a long waiting list, doctor can't do anything regarding my symptoms because they don't know what's causing it, does anyone on here have any knowledge of the symptoms I said I have or who I should refer to? As in which department? I'm not sure where to start as I don't even know what's causing it, I have a gut feeling it's blood pressure that's causing this but docs tell me I need to be referred for a TTT for that. Anyways, I don't know, I'm not a professional I just want a bit of advice is all!

Who did you get results from, was it gp? And how long did you wait?
I'm waiting for my results it's been 2 weeks and not heard anything [/quote]
Yes I called up gp, mines been two weeks but receptionist had to send request to gp to view it because gp hadn't viewed it yet, if you call up whoever asked for you to get it whether it's cardiologist or gp they will or should be able to tell you your results by now

Look up POTs very common in women between 20 and 50. Also post covid.

I'm not sure if it is pots personally because when I did the laying down to standing test it didn't increase by much and stay there however I have noticed a few times il be walking and my heart rate will be in the 100's just from walking around my house....never thought anything of it though I genuinely thought that was normal - not sure what they've picked up but I'm sure once I see the cardiologist they will do more tests to find out

It could be I guess...I'm not sure, do cardio diagnose that or would it be neurology? Im waiting for my cardio appointment to come through now...
