If that's the right word?

I have namechanged for obvious reasons.

TMI if you are having brekky.

Have had a few probs with the 'bottom area' since giving birth - just a little fissure I think. I am treating it with witch hazel gel, it isn't too bad, comes and goes. That isn't the problem though.

I have realised that well above that region, just at the place where your back turns into your bottom, where the 'cheeks' start iyswim, there is a little cut, like a crack, which keeps getitng sore and opening up.

I am not sure if this is linked to the bottom thing, or a separate thing entirely, it is only in the last few months it has happened and I wondered at first if I had scrubbed that bit too hard one day in the shower, as I get a bit of hard skin there for some reason.

Sorry to ask but has anyone else had this, and does it get better by itself? It hurts

I think that might be a bacterial infection, I'd go to the GP personally.

Oh dear...

Thankyou.

Have you had any other cuts that aren't healing well?

I had this a bit. I used sudocrem for a few days andd it seemed to help. Also canesten cream worked too. Otherwise off to the docs. Good luck.
