Please recommend your favourites and why!

I've tried searching but Mumsnet search hasn't been working for me for a week, so sorry if there are threads already.

I use Friendly bars, rose and geranium. Very happy with it.

style and beauty is where this kind of chat tends to be, definitely past threads on there. i can't really give recommendations cause i've found all of the ones i've used fine...

I buy from Lush as they smell amazing and actually the scent fills my bathroom for the entire time the bath is there. Can't remember the name of it but it's a bright pink one- delicious

Are they as good or better than the bottled shampoo?

Sorry about placement here. Yeah that sounds a better home for it although I don't think there's a shampoo bar out there that will make me beautiful!

Either Friendly or Garnier are my favourites, or there is a company who come to our local markets called Folk Soap, they also do mail order.

Faith In Nature are the best I have tried.

I use Wild Sage & Co’s rosemary & lavender. Their being a women-run small business is a bonus. www.wild-sage.co.uk/skincare/rosemary-lavender-shampoo-bar

They are harder work to use because they don’t lather as easily. My hair definitely feels softer and nicer with the bars though.

Faith in nature coconut is my favourite
I also like Garnier honey one.

Look for Caurnie soaperie ( they sell online) I used it between haircuts and didn’t tell hairdresser and she was amazed how good my hair was.

Username7521 · 06/11/2021 19:18

Beauty kubes are amazing.

Drinkabelle · 18/11/2021 16:55

Just used Grùum shampoo bar today. It's the one for blonde/highlighted hair. Lathered really well, smells nice and my hair feels clean not waxy and soft. I'm impressed! And chuffed to "out" another plastic bottle from my bathroom 🙂

I find I get much better lather if I rub the shampoo bar between hair and one hand, rather than in my hands. It makes such a difference!
