I hope this is okay to post here. My partner has just been diagnosed with divericular disease and while doing the gastroscopy and colonoscopy took a biopsy. The consultant said they could see coeliac disease, but need a biopsy to confirm. This all happened last week. He was sent away with some leaflets and just told to wait for the GP to get in touch. Then on Monday night he received a text saying he's been booked for an emergency CT scan. Which he had on Wednesday - they didn't tell him why. Why would they do this? Are they looking for something else? Obviously we're thinking the worst that they spotted cancer or a tumour or something but they're not explaining anything to us.

Hi OP, I didn't want to leave you with no replies! I am sorry, I can't shed any light on your situation but maybe by now your partner has spoken with his GP? If not, that is what I would do this morning. x

Thank you! Still nothing. No response from messages left. It's very frustrating but I'm going with the "no news is good news" adage!!
