can I moan about my cold on here?

I know it's not serious, but I've never known a cold go on so long. After 2 weeks, I've now lost my voice as well. I've checked to make sure it's not covid, and it's not bad enough to be flu, but I'm fed up feeling rubbish. Plus it's going round the family as well.
Is anyone else going through it?

Yup. End of week 2 . So bunged up and really fed up. Gone through boxes of paracetamol. Can't work and can't think straight or sleep properly. Negative lft but did a PCR to be sure today. 99% sure it's just the killer cold....fingers crossed we'll feel better soon!!

Oh no! I’ve just got this yesterday. Really sore throat, streaming nose, sneezing and coughing. Really hope it doesn’t last for 2 weeks. I have done Covid test and all clear

I'm just starting with this 🤧 DH started with it last week and it floored him ... looks like my turn now

Yep, my cough has lasted for two weeks now and I've got a bunged up ear to add to my joys.

I went to the doctor today who has given me some antibiotics as the cold has turned into a chest infection

We've all been ill for weeks in my house, you think it's gone then you are hit with something else! I had really bad bodyaches and was in tears feeling sorry for myself so you have my sympathy.

GP are refusing to see DD aswell just because she has a cough, but she's had it coming up to 4 weeks now. They seem to think everything is covid

I'm joining the moan.
Now have bronchitis and has been 2 weeks so far.

I am so bored of it.

Not doing any of my usual activities- finally taking a day off work.

Yes. This is my second cold in a month after having nothing for two years. It’s like all the pre Covid bugs are back to party with a vengeance and I feel shit. I’m COVID negative thankfully but can hardly hear a thing with bunged up ears. Bunged up everything. My head feels like a giant spot waiting to burst, even my teeth hurt
