Pain in shoulder area

The past few days I've had a really tender spot (not an actual spot or lump but area) on the back of my shoulder, right at the top of the shoulder blade. There is also a (less) tender area near the bottom of the shoulder blade. Both are on my right side. I can move my arm fine, dont feel any pain unless I touch it and then it's really painful. It feels like the bone is bruised. But there is no visible bruising or swelling that I can see. The other day I felt the pain was radiating to my right under breast area and armpit but that seems to have disappeared. It's been bothering me all weekend and hoping to make a GP appointment on Monday.

Anyone had similar? I don't recall any injuries or knocking it accidentally. I have an 11 month old so could it be strain from carrying him? My posture also isn't great.

could it be from your neck?
do you remain in the same position for long?

I think it can be stress related, for me it's my left shoulder. Yoga is good for sorting it out

My neck is fine but now you mention it, just below where the top of my spine is, I did feel some soreness in the centre there.

My DS is a really poor sleeper and has been unwell on and off with various coughs and colds the past few weeks, so wants to be held whilst asleep. I genuinely think this could be linked to my back problem. But I'm worrying, because the pain is so strange.

@GettingUntrapped possibly. I have been quite stressed recently about various things and on top DS not sleeping I feel like am losing it.
