potential pots?

I just went to the hospital to get a 24 hour ecg monitor fitted and I felt terrible, so terrible I asked to lay down, I felt very faint so they asked me to sit up and took my heart rate and blood pressure (I will say whenever I feel faint I do get panicky because it's scary) anyway both my heart rate and blood pressure were raised and then they did a quick ecg laid down and they said my heart rate has gone down significantly and showed the cardio doctor he said it's fine for me to go home, what I'm curious about is can pots cause this? They told me before I left they are suspecting I have pots but when I did the active stand test with my Fitbit my heart rate did not really increase more than 30bpm which I thought was the criteria for pots.
Now I'm being told it's a very likely situation that I do in fact have pots after three months of lightheaded ness and head rush

glad you got your appointment.

I am waiting for an appointemnt too, but my first one is by phone.

I don't feel panicky when I feel faint as it happens so many times a day it is normal.

Really? It scares me, I wish I wasn't bothered about it! How long have you had symptoms now?
