I was given clarithfomycin 500mg for 5 days twice a day for strep throat. My throat felt better and as soon as I stopped them yesterday it’s sore again. Doctor told me it would have definitely cleared the infection and to get some antiseptic spray from pharmacy. I’m worried about spreading it to my young baby and immunosuppressed husband if it hasn’t cleared up. When I have looked online it seems that 5 days isn’t usually given it’s usually 7 or 10 days. What should I do here?
