Weight loss for no reason

So that’s just it really. I’ve gone from 11st to 10st 4 in the space of 4 months. I might have been eating very very slightly less but normally struggle to lose weight even when I make an effort.
I actually prefer this lighter me but it seems a bit a bit strange. Each week I seem to lose more…
Any thoughts?

You should speak to your GP and probably get some bloods done. Think about if you have any other symptoms and mention those. Please don’t rely on medical advice from strangers on the internet.
2nd choice walk in centre.
3rd choice A&E.
Good luck.
PS it’s probably nothing to worry about.

Are you more active in the past 4 months?

Shrinking15 · 26/10/2021 07:01

@sadie9 no

Do you have any other symptoms? I lost a lot of weight quickly when my thyroid went hyper active. Agree that you should get some blood tests done.

Agree that you should contact gp. Have you any other symptoms - change in bowel habit, loss of appetite, cough that won't go, night sweats, excessive tiredness.. Anything that has accompanied this weight loss ?
Maybe track your diet to see what your calorific intake is on a daily basis.
