Spinal Nerve Block

My consultant has suggested trying a spinal nerve block to help with pain relief for spinal stenosis.
Does anyone have any experience of a nerve block injection and did it give some relief?

Yes , I had it done a few years ago . I went from hardly being able to walk to doing a three mile walk virtually overnight . An absolute miracle .
There are risks attached , I was warned about possible incontinence & the fact there are no guarantees with how long the effects last . I'm about 8 years in & absolutely no problems. Good luck !

My partner had this in 2015 for sciatica- it lasted until May this year when his sciatica returned with a vengeance.

He had a second one in July but it didn't work this time. He's just had a discetomy to release the sciatic nerve and so far so good.
