DS who is 3 has long long history of ear infections, grommets etc etc. Have seen dr this morning and he has another infection (more antibiotics) - no temp at the mo but poor lad is in so much pain - he is totally dosed up on calpol and nurofen but still clutching at ear and crying on and off

is there anything else I can do for him?

Ear pain is the worse isn't it, both my dc had perforated ear drums a few months back.

Have you tried a warm water bottle, with something wrapped over it so he can lie on this.

Another thing I would probably give is Mediced because it has the tendancy to let them sleep for a while, then he wouldn't feel the pai so much?

Hope he is better soon.
