Woke up this morning with this love bit looking thing on my chest. Definitely not a love bite? Any ideas?

Could it be a pinch from carrying something large, awkward or heavy over the weekend?

No.. I've not done any heavy lifting. Spent most of it resting. I've a beautiful cough and cold at the moment.

Burst blood vessels from coughing?

I suffer with health anxiety and obviously catastrophising about sepsis or meningitis 😬 yes I know how silly I sound.

Well- it’s just a guess I’m not a doctor. You can check for meningitis by running a glass over the blotchy bit, if it fades it’s fine. If you have temperature then ring 111. Hopefully it’s gone now.

No the blotchy bit doesn't fade which is why I was worried but it's only in that one small area and not spreading. Temp is normal. Maybe I scratched myself or something who knows. Surely if it was anything major I'd be unable to function properly.
