What is wrong with me. Can’t think straight.

I am menopausal (hrt not really working, telephone consultation booked next month). Had the horrid cold a few weeks ago. Felt awful. It cleared up for a few days then came back for another week.
Now every time I get tired the glands in my throat get swollen. I feel very low. I feel weak and sometimes feel like I want to lie down on the floor. Worst I can’t think straight. Everything is taking three times as long. I feel blank.
I am trying my best at work but it is like I am underwater and doing everything in slow motion.
The fatigue comes in waves, sometimes but not always walking brings it on.
I feel ill but don’t know what with. Is this post viral fatigue??

Certainly sounds like it could be but I think I'd push for blood tests to rule out any deficiencies.
In the meantime don't push yourself.

Definitely go to your GP for investigation. One possibility which is quite common in women from about 50 is hypothyroidism, for instance.
