Strange bruising/redness with dots (picture)

Does anyone have any idea what this could possibly be? It appeared roughly 4/5 weeks ago and it’s getting bigger and darker and now just starting on the toe next to it. My toe is painful but I feel like there’s a burning sensation on the skin.
There’s been no trauma etc.

I also think it might be covid toes! Looks like the photos I've seen of that symptom anyway

I haven’t had Covid though I don’t think. I’ve been testing 3 times a week for months.
My daughter had it in August so I was testing everyday as well as having 2 negative PCRs.

Chilblains?
