Should blade pain

Awful pain over the last couple of weeks in my right shoulder blade. Feels almost like a toothache type pain. It's bloody sore. I'm also suffering with a sharp stabbing pain behind my opposite ear. That comes so quickly and is a completely different type of pain.
Now, I'm sure it's a strain of some sort. But I have a small, scared part of me thinking that it's an aortic dissection. Something I'd never heard of until I googled shoulder blade pain
I wouldn't be here typing if it was would I?. I terrified. I feel really sick and really scared. My shoulder pain was bad last week, went after a few days. Back again this week.
Any ideas or tips for relief?. Ibuprofen and paracetamol isn't touching it.
Please someone talk sense into me. Thank you.

You need to go to a doctor OP as nobody here will be able to diagnose you over the internet. Can you call them on Monday?

No one on here can give you advice that will reassure you my lovely. The pain you describe could be lots of things from trapped wind to gall stones to muscle strain. You need to see a GP. Hope it eases soon!

So sorry for the late reply. I'm 40. Overweight and a bit unfit.
It was bad all day yesterday. Thankfully its eased today.
I just hate worrying and panicking about it.

Can you book an appointment with the doctor OP? No point leaving it and getting increasingly anxious and uncomfortable.

Speak to GP .I genuinely think if it’s a pain you have had on and off for a while it is very unlikely to be anything sinister! I had similar pain back in the summer which was worse when I nodded my head . I am certain it was from emptying our very heavy, full kitchen bin ! I took naproxen for 4 weeks and it really did help .
