Ive had a nasty cough in the windpipe area for 4weeks , made worse by Asthma . It seemed to be easing a great deal and then it got much much worse after my night in an isolation area in hospital with dd1 were the filtration system seemed to set me off and I had to use my reliever inhaler,(I very rarley have had to use it) . That was Tues night and Im now in a lot of pain when coughing and my chest is very very tight. My whole body aches and Im very very fatigued, had to spend the whole day on the sofa yesterday with really strong paracetomol. Poor dd1 needs my looking after and I cant be there in the same way as I should.

Im wondering wether a trip to out of hours GP is needed???

aww you poor thing merryberry.

Back from GP , he doesnt think it pleurisy , but pleuritic pain caused by a condition called cosotchondritis. Have been prescribed 400mg anti inflammatories and told that should make some difference to the pain. He says unfortunately I must have another viral bug on top which is making me feel so unwell and fatigued.

Its been quite a time and its all a combination of extreme stress , shallow breathing from anxiety and several viruses all at once.

ahh well, dh might take just one more day for me tomorrow so I can ge into things again.

i hope the anti inflammatories help, and dh helps! i'm sort of resigned to it now. antibiotics end in a couple of days, will see what's up then.
