About 18 months ago I had a tooth pulled after a filling totally cracked and the tooth was not able to be saved. Since then I have such bad gum recession that the tooth next to the gap is beginning to cause me pain. It's at the base of the tooth where the gum has come so far down.
I can't get an appointment with the dentist for another 6 weeks and I am petrified that I am going to loose another tooth. Before I was 30 I didn't have a single filling. Since then my teeth have just fallen apart.
I brush 2 times a day, floss etc. But I am also severely anemic and have been told that can have an effect on your gums.
What cam I do to slow the gum recession? I know gums don't grow back.
