Cervical polyp

Found a polyp during a routine smear in February. Had an appointment today to remove it. No bleeding at the time but now have a pinkish discharge. Is this normal? I’m 56 and post menopausal

Yes I had one removed a couple of months ago. I had bleeding and discharge and cramps for about 48 hrs. Am assuming it's benign since I've not heard anything, I think they usually are.
