Dodgy big toe

I've had a dodgy big toe for a while, I broke it as a child and is always a bit painful and feels like it might be set incorrectly.

Last night DD jumped on it whilst I was kneeling and bent it backwards. It bloody hurt.

I'm now in loads of pain with it, it's not swollen or bruised but can't put weight on it and mobility is limited.

Have phoned GP who have said go to A&E.

I don't want to waste nhs time / my time if they won't be able to do anything about it.

Would you go or just leave it and see what happens?
