Mammogram Follow Up

I had my 1st ever mammogram 6 months ago. I was told I had calcifications and that I would need a repeat Mammogram. I've just had the repeat scan. How long until I get the results? I'm driving myself crazy waiting and imagining all sorts. If the calcs have changed does that mean it's definitely cancer?

It’s normally a week or 2 for results.

Thanks. I assume if I get a follow up appointment then the calcs have changed? At that point would it always be cancer?

I don’t know I’m afraid. My cancer was a lump I found and I now have yearly mammograms.
Hopefully this will bump it for you.
