My gp has just referred me to an upper limb/shoulder specialist after an mri showed significant tendonopathy and a small focal full thickness tear in my rotator cuff tendon. She thinks it's likely to mean surgery. I know I need to wait for my consultant appointment but has anyone any experience of what is involved and how long recovery takes? I had to step away from the google machine.
