Searing pain in collarbone when I bend over

This is the worst pain. It goes up into my neck after and I am too scared to move my arm for about 10 minutes. The pain stays there for a while bit not as bad.
Any ideas?

Anyone?do you think maybe it's a pulled muscle?

The obvious cause would be a broken collarbone, but presumably you have ruled that out.

It could be a number of things, so it's worth having it examined. Unbearable pain isn't something to live with and wonder about.

I think in just trying to hide from going. If uts a pulled muscle it'll get magically better.

It's not likely to be anything terrible. Don't be frightened of getting someone who knows their way around a skeleton to give it a gentle prod and reassure you.

Any chance you are pregnant?
This could be a sign of an ectopic pregnancy

delilabell · 28/09/2021 21:13

Nope deffo not pregnant. I worry it'll be said it's cos I'm overweight.

If you definitely know you are not pregnant then that's ok. As shoulder top pain with ectopics is a symptom.

May be a pulled muscle. Does you GP offer a physio clinic or the local hospital? Could be worth just booking in to see one of them.

If not whack a ibuprofen or two and apply heat to the area of it loosens up and feels a bit better probably is a pulled muscle, but I'm no Dr so don't take my word for it 😂😂
