Hi all,

Just looking for some advice before I speak to my doctor Mon.

So I'm on letrozole for BC and in the menopause due to chemo.
My onc told me if my periods come back to let him know straight away as letrozole can only be taken when menopausal. So yesterday I thought I could see signs of ovulation, I'm not sure of this means my ovaries are coming back to life or not. Should I stop taking letrozole straight away? Anyone been in a similar position? Going to email him first thing Mon.
Thanks guys

No don't stop taking it. It isn't dangerous to take Letrozole if you are not menopausal, it simply won't work as well. Call your breast care nurse/consultant's secretary after the weekend. You may need to have bloods tests.

Hi again, so my periods came back last week, and I'm convinced that I'm no longer menopausal as I have no symptoms either.. my oncologist ordered more bloods to confirm but told me to keep taking letrozole. Is this right or could it be dangerous to keep taking, so confused
