Help!

I've been bitten badly overnight - must have been in my bedroom, I've not been anywhere else! I always react badly - I've got several giant red lumps over my legs. I've taken antihistamines and I've used a bite cream but I'm so itchy I could cry.

What's your recommended solution for bites? Ideally to stop them swelling but to stop the itch would be the dream right now.

I live abroad. This is such a problem. Just take an antihistamine and dab with aloe Vera

Hi I recently had this problem. I feel for you. It felt like my skin was on fire with itching. I found eurex anti itching cream really helped me. I ordered it from Amazon but I bet its available in chemists easliy. It is about 3 quid.

Apply ice cubes or blast with a hairdryer. Takes away the itch

Dip a teaspoon in boiling water and press briefly onto the bite. Tried and tested

I use the After Bite pen which takes the itch away really quickly. www.superdrug.com/Toiletries/Travel/Mosquito-and-Insect-Bite-Treatment/After-Bite-Fast-Relief-From-Insect-Bites-14ml/p/43455

I can vouch for the teaspoon in hot water trick, hurts for a couple of seconds but kills the itch immediately

OP I have also just posted about bites! I react to bites so have an antihistamine prescription and steroid cream, but I rate anthisan too. Avon Skin So Soft is also a good preventative. I unfortunately got all mine in one night this week, but the skin so soft has prevented more thankfully.
