MMR v Single Vaccines (& Rh Neg Links)

My DS is due for his MMR in January, so I'm researching the issue of whether to give him MMR or the singles (my brother is autistic - tho not due to MMR)

I'd welcome views on two things:

DS attends nursery in London part-time: do you think it would be unwisely risky to go the single jab route and hence not have him covered for mumps and rubella for a while?

I'm Rh neg, and had the anti-D: I read in a mumsnet thread (from October) that there is possibly some link between Rh Neg mothers (and the therimsol in the Anti-D) and autism, but couldn't find any info on it elsewhere (other than a report dated yesterday that said there was no link between the two). Please could someone post a link to the research?
