Another "is it ok to give...." question , this time about benadryl.

haven't got any medised in (but will buy some tomorrow!).

Ds1 has v high temp which I am keeping at bay with nurofen and calpol.

Can I give him benadryl too as it might dry his horribly snotty nose which is making him very miserable on top of everything else.

Puff I'd have thought a pharmacist would be a better & quicker bet. is there a late night one near you which you could phone for advice?

I personally wouldn't - but would contact pharmacy or NHS direct.

Thanks folks, think I'll just stick to the calpol and nurofen for now.
