Callus on finger

Any tips on how to get rid of this callus (I think it's a callus!) on my finger? It's been there 18 months and I'm sick of it.

I'm pregnant so not sure if I can safely use anything with AHA in it.

Advice gratefully received before I bother my GPs practice with this minor issue!

Is it from your rings rubbing? I had something similar when I got my eternity ring. I just kept putting 8 Hour cream on it until it healed.
Not being goady but would you really go to a GP for that?

No, this is what I'm saying - I wouldn't want to bother GP practice with it but realistically it would be a nurse I'd see if at all. Only if other creams don't shift it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 8 hour cream sounds like a good idea thanks x

I get calluses on my palms from weight lifting. I use foot cream to keep them under control.

Could I ask which foot cream? I've tried so many different creams on it but nothing has shifted it 😫

Take the rings off if it bothers you? It's not something I'd bother a doctor over. Maybe a chemist at a push.

I get them from kettlebells. Just keep it moisturised.

@housewifeathome Scholl Hard Skin foot cream. There used to be another Scholl one that was better (for cracked heels?) but I can't find it at the moment. I'm just about to try an O'Keefe's cracked heel cream. It doesn't get rid of them but has stopped them building up to the point of shearing off in the gym, and bleeding, which would make me heave. I occasionally give them a bit of a rub with a foot file, too.

I get dry cuticles and have recently discovered Burts Bees lemon cuticle butter. That has a very rich, vaseline type texture (and glorious smell) and I slather a bit of that over them as well, whenever I use it on the cuticles. It soaks in really fast.

@Spodge

Yes, this one sheds and bleeds too 😫 It's very annoying due to it being on my finger. I'll look for that Scholl's cream you mentioned and I love Burt Bees so will seek out some of their cuticle cream too. Thank you ☺️
