BCG injection

Hi ladies

My son had his BCG injection just about 7 months ago it’s been really red sore bleeding etc etc he has been on two lots of antibiotics and it doesn’t seem like it’s worked.. we had it swabbed which showed it was an infection..

Does anyone know how long it takes for it to heal?? I’m just becoming quite concerned and worried it’s taken this long and it hasn’t showed any sign of healing it’s just been constantly red ozzy flaky sore and sometimes bleeds as he’s itching it..

No experience of an infected BCG site, but IME even if un-infected it takes forever to heal. Months.

This will be about 7 months now.. so thought it would healed by now..

No way it should take 7 months to heal. Back to the GP. Something's not right.
