IUD hanging out?!

I had a coil inserted when I had my c section 6 weeks ago. Just went to the toilet and stood up and my strings are hanging outside of me?! Wtf do I do

Definitely get it checked. It sounds like just slipped and needs reinserted. I went back as my strings were so long, they trimmed them but they are still really long! It feels like they mostly curl up out the way but when they are straight it feels like they are only a few cm in! However the nurse said they need length to get it out again.

It ended up just falling down into my vagina and I could really feel it before my doctors appt so I just had to pull it out, just slid out with a dead gentle pull. It wasn't painful at all which makes me think they never put it in properly or it got dislodged as everything was falling back into place after c section.

Think I might just get the implant instead I'm traumatised 🤣
