Getting a GP appointment ( Northern Ireland preferably)

Hi, just wondering how easy it is to get a GP appointment at the minute? It’s nothing major but something that has been causing me a lot of distress lately. Just wondering is it impossible to get an appointment, are GPS seeing anyone? Want to try now before winter hits and it gets any worse

Hi most GP practices you just call up from 8am (keep trying til you get through) then speak to a receptionist and outline the issue.
They will arrange for a GP to call you back (they don’t give a time so you need to be ready to answer at any point). The gp will then either diagnose and prescribe by phone, or arrange to see you if necessary.
Hope that helps.

As @Ssmiler said you need to ring first thing (my GP is from 8.30) I've been pretty successful in getting both phone and face to face appointments and my surgery is using WhatsApp for photos pre diagnosis which has been really useful.
