Been a complete idiot this evening and swallowed a dose of my normal morning medication (Lisinopril 5 mg) instead of the vitamin pill I intended to swallow.

The normal daily dose of Lisinopril is 20 mg and when I googled I actually found a research report that found two daily doses might be more effective. So there don't seem to be any safety implications of splitting a 10mg dose, which is effectively what I've done.

Does it sound like I don't need to ring 111 or anything over this? I know the dangers of relying on Dr Google but it does seem like I haven't done anything likely to be dangerous.

In the nicest way possible, Ring 111 instead of waiting for advice from the internet!

So you've taken 10mg in total today instead of your usual 5mg in the morning? As you say this is still well within the normal dose range, you'll be fine.

Thank you, that's what I thought in the end. I couldn't see what NHS 111 would tell me apart from maybe don't drive in case of dizziness.
