I am looking for a gastroenterologist to consult on problems with DS - 19. He had a couple of bouts of hemetemesis in June/July following alcohol consumption. It was an amount that would technically be a binge but not uncommon for students and hemetemesis is very uncommon. He was subsequently diagnosed with gastritis and now with non alcoholic fatty liver. The fatty liver is also very odd as he's underweight. I think it's all connected.
The GP will repeat tests in 6 months but I really feel like we need to have a better understanding of what's been going on. I would like to see someone who initially I could have a chat with to help make sense of it all. I am in Central London.
Recommendations greatly appreciated.
